Agreement to Hold Harmless, and Statement of Responsibilities:
I, ____________________________________hereby apply to participate in
the Arrowhead Sled Dog Race for Search and Rescue departing from Deer
Mountain Snowmobile park in Siskiyou County, California, and surrounding
areas, as defined by the Race Giving Organization, Fourteen Angels Foundation,
Inc. I acknowledge that sled dog racing is an inherently dangerous sport.
I agree to maintain safe practices for the protection of myself, my handlers,
my dogs, other participants, observers, sponsors and hosts.
On behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns and personal representatives, I
hereby waive, release and forever discharge any individuals or organizations
involved in and/or sponsoring this race or event, any involved municipalities
or public entities, and all their employees, agents, officers, directors,
attorneys, members, sponsors, promoters, and affiliates whosoever from
any and all liability, claim, loss, cost, or expense for personal injury,
death or property damage or execution of this sled dog even, or my participation
therein, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness
on the part of the persons or entities mentioned above.
